IRRIGATION REPAIRS & ESTIMATES
- Proposal or repair of irrigation components that require immediate attention in order to prevent damage to or loss of plant material.
- Proposal or repair for correction of basic operational failures such as timers, valves, mainline pipes, or any other item that would prevent water from reaching plant material as would normally be expected of the existing irrigation system.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM MAPPING & APPRAISAL
- Inventory of the system components
- Broken equipment
- Cost effective sprinkler improvements
- Weather based control options
- Programming/Timing
- Color-coded map of irrigation zones
IRRIGATION SYSTEM UPGRADES
- Recommendations for correcting coverage deficiencies (brown spots, muddy areas) and water conservation efforts. Coverage deficiencies are the result of uneven water distribution. These deficiencies occur when one area receives less or more water in a given amount of time than other areas within the same control zone.
- For example: There is a brown spot amidst a green grass area and all plant/soil factors have been ruled out as the cause. In most cases, people would program more time on the timer to provide extra water to the dry area that may only represent 10% of the control zone. Consequently, those larger amounts of water are then wasted since we must over-water 90% of the area to keep the 10% green. This will often result in muddy areas in other sections of the lawn. The solution is to simply modify the sprinkler system to correct the deficiency, saving water, energy and improving aesthetics.
